MEET YOUR BOARD
The AGM is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the people behind the League. Our volunteer board includes the following positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Facilities Director, Civics Director, Social Director, Programs Director, Communications Director and two (2) Directors At Large.
GET INVOLVED
Many of our current board members are happy putting their names forward for another term, and we're grateful for their continued dedication to our community. But in addition to being a board member, there are so many meaningful ways to get involved and make a real difference in Crestwood. We are actively looking for community members to participate in projects and committees related to the following initiatives:
🏒 Rink Board Advertising
Help us sell ad space on our rink boards and grow a key revenue stream for the league.
🏘️ Membership Sales & Promotion
Champion the value of community league membership and help us grow our numbers.
🍳 Canada Day Breakfast
Volunteer at one of our most beloved community traditions.
🎤 Smaller Social Events
Have a passion for bringing people together? Help us run events like open mics, family skates, and more.
🎄 Candy Cane Lane Ticket Sales
This is a special one. Candy Cane Lane is one of Edmonton's most cherished holiday traditions, and our ticket sales coordinator plays a key behind-the-scenes role in making it happen. Using a non-profit version of Ticketmaster, this volunteer monitors ticket sales, creates nightly sleigh manifests, and transfers funds to sleigh providers as they come in. Our current coordinator has generously served in this role for over 10 years and is ready to pass the torch, with full training and knowledge transfer to the right person. If you're detail-oriented and want to be part of the magic, we'd love to hear from you!
📣 Spreading The Word
Help us communicate about what makes Crestwood great! Share your photography skills or carry the torch and continue developing our newly-revived newsletter!
These committee and volunteer roles are a fantastic way to contribute to our community on your own terms. If you have other ideas, please share them!
MARK YOUR CALENDAR
We hope to see you at the AGM. The strength of Crestwood and our community league is in the people, and that includes you. If you have questions in advance of the AGM, feel free to reach out.
