Make new friends while becoming fitter!​
These classes involve light to moderate exercise emphasizing a fun, educational approach to developing better balance, strength, flexibility and cardio-respiratory fitness, by lifting weights, stretching & walking with poles. Classes include lots of arthritis exercises and nutrition tips!
All classes are led by a certified Instructor and can be done from a seated or standing position.

No need to buy anything! All equipment is supplied.
Classes start and end at the Crestwood Community League Hall (14325 96 Avenue NW)

Nordic Walking

Mondays and Thursdays from 1:30pm - 2:45pm
Registration fee*: $160
*subsidies may be available
Note: The Thursday, February 6 class will be on Wednesday, February 5 in lieu of Winter Walk Day
Indoor General Fitness for Older Adults
“If you don’t walk, you can’t walk!”
General Fitness for Older Adults emphasizing balance, flexibility and strength training. All exercises from a standing or seated position and walking with poles too! Mix one indoor and one outdoor class or take all 3!

Poles and weights are supplied free of charge, and registrants are encouraged to use them one or two more days on their own.
